Back in February we were proud to be involved in a truly groundbreaking event. The Snow Bike Festival is a four day stage race taking place almost entirely on Snow. Now it is the first snow race to be sanctioned by the UCI. The race takes place in and around GSTAAD in the breathtaking Swiss Alps.
The Snow Bike Festival is a 4-day mountain biking stage race that takes place in the snow covered Swiss alps. The event has seen competitors from across the globe congregate in the stunning region of GSTAAD (Switzerland), creating a genuinely international atmosphere. The world’s first UCI (Union Cycliste Internationale) race on snow sees professional mountain bikers and aspiring amateurs from around the world head to the trails and slopes around GSTAAD, to compete in one of the most unique mountain biking environments in the world.

We (ski) jumped at the opportunity to be involved with this event, coming on board as an official product sponsor, we supplied the leader jerseys for the event. The extreme conditions meant we were able to flex our winter muscles a little, supplying custom lava jerseys and gilets for the leaders over the course of the event. Real world race testing is an important part of our R&D process and the knowledge we gained in GSTAAD has helped us to further improve our winter and cold weather kit.
