CIOVITA is looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team at CIOVITA's Broadacres retail branch as Store Assistants. As a Store Assistant, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service, assisting with store operations, and promoting our cycling apparel and accessories to our valued customers
DUTIES & DELIVERABLES (include, but are not limited to)
● Customer Service: Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing product information, answering inquiries, and resolving customer complaints. Ensure that customers have a positive shopping experience and leave the store satisfied.
● Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of CIOVITA's cycling apparel and accessories, including their features, benefits, and technical specifications. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the cycling industry to provide accurate and informed recommendations to
customers.
● Sales Support: Assist in achieving sales targets by upselling and cross-selling products, providing product demonstrations, and offering personalized recommendations based on customer needs. Collaborate with the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager to implement sales strategies and promotions.
● Store Operations: Assist with store operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and store cleanliness. Help maintain accurate stock levels, replenish shelves, and keep the store well-organized and visually appealing.
● Order Handling: Process card transactions accurately, handle cash registers, and maintain proper cash handling procedures in compliance with store policies.
● Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, and other store team members to create a positive and supportive team environment. Assist in training and mentoring new store team members as needed.
● Health and Safety: Follow all health and safety guidelines, including maintaining a clean and safe store environment, adhering to emergency procedures, and reporting any safety concerns to the appropriate personnel.
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
● Passion for cycling and knowledge of the cycling industry
● Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
● Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
● Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
● Basic math skills
● Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
● Availability to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours as required.
● Own Transport required.
Remuneration: TBC

Production
We are seeking highly skilled machinists with 10+ years of expertise in the clothing industry to join our team and produce high-quality garments by operating and maintaining sewing machines with precision and expertise.
Requirements:
● 10+ years of proven experience within the clothing industry as a sewing machinist.
● Proficiency in operating various sewing machines
● Ability to sew different types of fabrics, adjusting machine settings as required.
● Competent in constructing complete garments to high-quality standards.
● Strong attention to detail with the capability to produce high-quality garments.
● Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team setting.
Remuneration: In line with the National Bargaining Council( NBC) Rates

The Workstudy Officer is responsible for analyzing, planning, and optimizing production processes to improve efficiency and productivity. This role involves conducting time and motion studies, developing standard operating procedures, and ensuring the effective utilization of resources. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills,
and a solid understanding of garment manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
● Conduct time and motion studies to measure and analyze the time taken for each operation within the production process.
● Identify areas of inefficiency and suggest improvements to enhance productivity.
● Analyze existing production processes to identify bottlenecks and waste.
● Develop and implement strategies to optimize workflow and reduce production time and costs.
● Develop and document standard operating procedures for various production activities.
● Train production staff on SOPs to ensure consistency and quality in manufacturing processes.
● Evaluate the utilization of labor, machinery, and materials to ensure optimal use of resources.
● Make recommendations for resource allocation to maximize productivity.
● Monitor production performance against established benchmarks and KPIs.
● Generate reports on production efficiency, downtime, and other key metrics.
● Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes and overall efficiency.
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and innovations in manufacturing.
Requirements:
● Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Textile Engineering, or a related field.
● Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the clothing manufacturing industry
● Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
● Proficiency in time and motion study techniques.
● Excellent knowledge of garment manufacturing processes and machinery.
● Proficient in using MS Office and industry-specific software.
● Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
● Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
● Certification in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma.
● Experience with ERP systems in a manufacturing setting.
● Knowledge of compliance standards and safety regulations in the clothing industry.
Remuneration: R18 000 - R20 000 pm, CTC
