The olive tree is a powerful symbol of victory going back to ancient times, when the first Olympic champions were given wreaths made of olive leaves. The Oliva Range serves as a tribute to the undying spirit of the champion.
The culmination of months of research and development the Oliva is the latest in our Supremo Bib Series. It represents a giant leap forward in high performance cycle wear featuring the leading edge of fit and fabrication technology with innovation in every stitch.
Featuring a new propriety multi panel design, the main body of the bib is made entirely from race tested Italian Lycra and has been ergonomically designed to stay in place while still offering you the range of movement required to change position on the saddle. The fabric also features advanced moisture wicking, with APF Fabric Technology ensuring that bib offers optimal moisture and odour control even in the most trying conditions.
A broad gripper elastic extends the Bib lower towards the knee, this innovation is essential to maintaining the integrity of the fit. The larger surface area prevents the bib from riding up, ensuring that the chamois stays in the right place over the course of your ride. On the other end the bib’s Elastane™ elastic straps are designed to snapback maintaining their elasticity over the long term. Our new crossed straps are designed for comfort and prevent the straps from sliding off the shoulders, while the front strap has a useful sunglasses strip for storing your shades.
Visibility is always a central pillar of our design philosophy and the Supremo Bib is meant to be seen. It features two high visibility marks on the back of each thigh. When riding these create a flashing effect as your leg moves to help motorists notice you in low light.
We have worked with our European suppliers in creating a new 4-layer Chamois pad for the Supremo Bib. The outer layers feature comfortable, but durable fabrics which provide moisture and odour control as well as a softer feel. These outer layers have been designed that when they are stitched into the bib they help create the ergonomic shape of the inner pads. The inner layers consist of two distinct types of high tech foam, the very light, highly breathable VitaFoam, which absorbs heavy shocks and compression; and the complementary perforated foam, which cushions against lighter vibration and bumps. Working together each layer delivers something different, but ultimately works to create our most comfortable chamois ever.
